Key Features

Polish Type

PC (Physical Contact): Slight dome for minimal air gap. Common for multimode applications.
UPC (Ultra Physical Contact): Higher grade polish with lower loss and low back reflection (-50dB+). Standard for most modern single-mode systems.
APC (Angled Physical Contact): 8-degree angled endface with very low back reflection (-65dB+). Crucial for RF video and high-speed PON applications.

Important: APC connectors (green) can ONLY mate with other APC connectors. Mating APC with UPC will damage the endfaces.

Alignment Sleeve Material

Ceramic (Zirconia): The gold standard - extremely hard, precise, durable, and provides the lowest loss. Used in almost all single-mode and high-quality multimode adapters.
